Hi all.I have been detecting now for over 20yrs and mainly do beach work but will be looking at land also this year as I have recently got permission on a farm.I am based in North Wales and detect all along the coast from Talacre to Pwhelli where I have a caravan all year.I restore old motorcycles as well as metal detecting and am currently using a fully restored 1986 Yamaha motocrosser to get to those hard to reach beaches. My main detector at the minute is the CScope CS4PI.Good luck everybody  Grin

Looks like you're making progress Snail.   You'd get on well with my eldest, his idea of a pension is restoring old bikes.
This is the latest, he uses it to go to work on, weather allowing.

Even one of his bosses, who's an enthusiast, says it should be wrapped in cotton wool, not being used every day.

Hi Snail aka Brian,
welcome to Detecting Wales. I have been detecting Talacre for a couple of years now and I bet that CS4PI gives you plenty of digging exercise there!  Wink

Hi Snail, an 86 yz, first of the monoshocks ? a bit noisy for beaches...... I had an XR200A, DT250, KTM250 & still try to get one ride a year at Geraint Jones place in Llanidloes usually on WR250's & 450, the body won't take it though these days.
