Hi Guys, well the cold weather never stopped me for a few hours swinging the Deus although on that particular day only a roman grot was to be had and the usual lead and 303s, yesterday I dropped down to lower levels and had a scout around a medieval field, more signals kept me fairly busy digging in-between the rain showers and hail. Grin The old Deus managed to winkle a nice cut 1/4 out of the ground, you may notice the bezel of a silver ring bottom left its a shame it is not complete though Wink I feel I covered every inch of this field over the years but look forward to the next plough in the next couple of months when I am sure many more items will come to light, hope you enjoy.....oh did I mention putting my back out taking my wellies off  Shocked Shocked off work today so no detecting Cry Cry

You found some interesting bits and bobs there Paul.  Is that a toggle I see.  Must admit I was glad I couldn't go for a swing this afternoon. Boy it's cold, even with the Sun.
I spent a while sitting in a site hut talking and was really cold by the time I came home. Well worth the visit though. Wink

Well Al, it's a good question the only answer I can think of is I don't want the Deus to think I don't love it anymore so I cheat on the CTX now and again Wink Grin
