Hi Richie,
it was just a pity that the weather and the ground conditions were not conducive to spending the whole day swinging the Safari on the old sports ground. I walked down there today (minus the detector) and the fields were like a great soggy sponge.

Once Christmas is out of the way, I intend giving the Safari a run down to Talacre and seeing how it behaves on the sands there. I will give you a quick pm once I am able to find the best weather and tide that will give the most advantageous conditions for a good day's detecting.
