garrat pinpointer Bionic man ?

I recently started a thread with the problems i had been having with a garrat probe namely it going off when it should nt and continuing to go off

 So as suggested i cleaned it and  had a look at the switch and was messing about with it in the house i noticed it was going off when my hand passed it , not wearing a ring or watch and not shirt buttons

passed other hand over it not going off  but repeatedly going off when passing left hand near it , tried another probe same thing happening ...  have come to the conclusion i have a small piece of metal in my palm some how never new it was there , i dont trigger metal detectors in airports though so perhaps they are not so sensitive to small items

 anyway sorted the problem just have to use other hand !
