Last night I met up with a old friend who owns a small holding of about eighty acres on the fertile northern plain of  my island .....It is light sandy soil (easy digging) and has been ploughed /reseeded..I was on this farm 5yrs ago and the one field ploughed we had Mesolithic blades/cores from..There is plenty of Bronze Age burials in the surrounding farms(most disturbed in Antiquity) and he hit a big stone at about 16inches down and this might be a cist grave..Coins come out in reasonable condition..Wish me luck Rob  Grin
