I'm looking to buy the 705 as my first detector. I've checked the usual sources, but have now found Amazon selling a 705 for 200 pounds cheaper, and a dual coil kit for 100 pounds cheaper than a std package at Joan Allen etc.
The Amazon details don't mention Minelab anywhere and actually say 'X-Terra.....…......... by X-Terra.
Am I potentially missing a bargain or falling for something that isn't what it says on the tin.
Has anybody had any deals like this before?
Forgive me if this has been raised before, I'm a newbie.

I've just had a quick look and they seem kosher and are on Amazon's "prime" supply list so Amazon are dispatching these themselves which means that you are pretty well protected, there are a few that are out of stock and at those prices I'm not surprised, many thanks for bringing this to the members attention Wink

Chris if you read this check out the Safari prices £589.95

And although currently out of stock the Etrac at £724.51 Shocked Shocked Shocked
