Well, I have been using my Garrett EuroAce for a couple of years now and have made some nice finds that include several hammered coins and loads of spendable decimals. The addition of a Garrett 4.5" Sniper coil and a Nel Tornado have improved my finds rates and also allowed me to work areas where the stock coil would not, perhaps, be the best coil for the job.

My setup is somewhat let down by the headphones that I have been using and I have perhaps been missing some targets. Having heard so many good reports about ChefPhones, I eventually manages to get the wife to order me set for Christmas. So, hopefully, my finds rates will make an other leap
 forward in January.  Grin

Yep cannot fault them however I had to replace the lead in the first year and this was not covered in the warranty so had to spend another £15   Embarrassed

I still got mine despite despite not needing them due to the 2 machines I now use, they are probably the best phones I have used sturdy, good sound, comfort and quality clearly a lot of thought went in to these.  Wink

Well done Chris. Mother Christmas got you just what you wanted. (she probably thought it a better option than the Safari anyway)  Keep that till your birthday  Wink

I just love the idea of a lifetimes guarantee and the separate lead. It's also going to nice to have decent volume control. I could probably use an old guitar lead when the lead gives up the ghost.

As for the Safari; that's still on the wish list and I now have £3oo in Premium Bonds towards the cost. With my birthday being due on March 30th, I may be able to persuade the wife to let me take out an interest free deal with Crawfords. That is, unless Regtons would offer me the same deal!  Wink

The CP2 Blacks; they should do for the EuroAce and the C-Scope CS4PI. They have to be better than anything I am presently using!
It'll be great to have some control over the volume.
