Enjoyed the rally today , not much luck myself but Mike showed me  bronze/copper pin about 4" long which might be a Roman dress or hair pin. In the Hattatt Roman book there is one very similar with the dogleg at the top but a ring instead of the patterned top on Mike's. If I am correct it is a very nice find. For anyone who has a copy of the book it is on page 443 Fig.15 item 92. They are described as 1st to 4th century.

Nice to have met up with a few members,and officials.
Looking  forward to the Santa hat dig ,just hope its not so muddy. Shocked

sorry to the couple of cars i could not help to push out of the field later in the afternoon , i suffer with back problems and after pushing out a few vans and cars in the afternoon i aggrevated it further my appologies  Sad Sad
