Does anybody know if there are any restrictions on the Gower Beaches please?

If you check the Crown Estate maps I think you'll find nearly the whole Gower area is either owned or managed by the National Trust. But I have seen others mention that as long as you avoid Sand Dunes and SSI areas, in other words stick to the beach, no one bothers you.
I have been told this personally by a Trust Warden in another area.

Used to go on the beaches down there about 15 years ago and never had a problem then.
And I think you are right about the dunes.

Been detecting on the Gower beaches for years and never had a problem.
Had quite a bit of gold from them, and years ago had 2 hammered coins off Port Eynon beach.
