Nice one - good reverse and good metal too by the looks of it. It's this one:-

Septimius Severus Denarius. L SEPT SEV PERT AVG IMP VIII, laureate head right / ADVENTI AVG FELICISSIMO, Severus on horseback right raising hand. RSC 6.

It's on wildwinds, but they've missed out the AVG in the description (-it's clear enough from the coin it's the same type)

That's a lovely looking coin Doug.  The soil where you are must be very kind.  I've seen a couple found over my side of the country and they've been as black as coke.

Most of the places I've detected down this end have either soil, once removed from peat or a couple of inches of course soil and then what the locals call rab.   They use it for hard core on paths and in gateways and it's a burger to dig through. Never seem to have many signals in those areas, thank goodness.

Sandy soil sounds nice, wouldn't mind some of that.
