Hi all, back in medieval field today for 4 hours , weather held out ground was just right not to sticky under foot, crop just starting to show. The largest of hammered was on top exactly as per photo, should any one like to ID coins I would appreciate it.  Wink Wink

Funny enough Herbie, it's not as boring as you think it is. It just happens the field has not been searched before and clearly has had a fair bit of activity in times gone by coupled with a lot of time searching Wink and regular ploughing.

A hammie hat trick Wink It looks like the middle one could be a farthing its hard to tell from the photo but it could be the larger 0.44grams type, the bust and inner circle is smaller than the coin on the right?
