Hi all ,

 I wonder if someone could advise on the brooch please ,  i think its tat but how do i know if its the real deal ?
 and was also hoping for id s on the hammies please

second coin i think is henry v1 groat bristol mint,brooch looks victorian or later can't
really see the rest on my phone  Wink

Super coin, well found David.   The brooch is only 'costume' jewellery, probably early 1900's.  the stones are probably glass repro. rubies and if real would have been cut differently and never set it base metal.

Great finds. The first groat is Henry VI annulet issue, Calais mint and the second is Edward III London mint.

The first hammered is a York mint penny.

As already said, the brooch is Victorian at best.

Thanks val and peter for the ids on the hammies ,  i thought so on the brooch and the glass/rubies were cut to good to be old

David, one advantage of being old, and Granny reared, I can remember some of the things we are digging up actually  being used  Shocked Roll Eyes

Unbelievably my Gran was born 1895, while Victoria was still the Queen. Even I find that hard to believe. Cry
