Had a early start this morning and back to my roman //hammered field,   It's was a very slow start usual Shotty caps, lead 303 shells.  Soon it was 10am and radnor bandit turned up after a coffee and a afield walk finding more roman pottery and Chirk. So back to detecting and found this lovely groat called ian over and he found a half groat we then blitzed the area found nothing.?. so popped into the field next and I found this brooch ID by chef as a annular brooch.  Thanks chef.

Lovely finds again - I'm quite partial to groats - sadly all mine are in the museum (still).

As someone else has said - leave some for us Smiley
