Hi Guys
Since starting detecting only 2 months ago I have found around 50 old pennies and halfpennies along with other bits and pieces and 2 badly worn hammered.  Oldest penny is 1794 George 111 I think.
I have a few questions to put before you experienced members.
What's best way to clean these coins? Or should I leave them alone?
If I find anything of any value which is not treasure and would like to sell it, where would I offer it for sale so as to cover costs of new equipment etc.?  Perhaps that's a bit of wishful thinking!!!!
Thanks in advance.
Tom
