Another one found yesterday , not much chance of i.d.ing it from the size of it looks like an Edward I , interesting that when it came out of the ground it was bent double, gave it a little test for movement and it was malleable (wonder if all the heat over the past week or so caused that); anyway straightened it there and then. Now I know it's not possible to i.d. this one  Smiley

Could you tell us what you look for when the edwards come up to aid identification?

Anything on the reverse? Looks a bit later to me, maybe Edward III. I'll try and put something together about how to start with Eddy IDs.
