Nice finds David, they both look like Ed 1st to me the 1st is London mint and the 2nd is from the York mint Wink

Are they from the same site as the short cross and the voided long cross pennys you've been finding?

Lets hope the hammie run carries on for you Wink

York had two mints, a Royal mint and an ecclesiastical privilege mint, the two coins legends are the same, (thats the writing around the coin) but the two coins had to look different so a quatrefoil was placed in the reverse cross of those struck at the ecclesiastical mint.
So your coin is from the York Royal mint
