This was the nicest item I found at the Monmouth dig, Aug 31. Its a small badge showing a harp and a crown with the words 'Union of England and Ireland' so I guess it can be dated to the Union Act of 1800, or maybe earlier if it was a way of showing your support for a union. Found on the planted field behind car park.
