I went to Porthcawl Beach for a change last night were i met the Doc, the new Boy detecting with his daughter, i stopped and had a chat with him and his family and introduced him to the detectingwales.com, he came on last night and joined up with us,

there's a lot of sand gone from that beach,  a lot of the coins i was finding were older ones, but amoungst all the rubbish and rusted wire and nails i managed to winkle out £19. 1 pence in cash,  and some more earings,    I was told that there was someone else there the night before  detecting too which would explain the blank spots.

Nice finds Alan mate..... gutted I had to leave so early but the kids where throwing sand in each others faces which is not very good at all lol... yeah alot of rubbish on porthcawl beach sparklers from bonfire night mostly... I had a go at Abaravon beach last week. After going up and down the beach for around half a mile or so i found 1 ring pull !!! Thats one clean beach mate..... Would have been better though if I had gone down later in the day though and gone along the top part.

Yeah,  your so right too Richy,  their down there mate,
it happened a couple of years ago at Barry,  silver coins everywhere,  a couple of foot of sand had gone off there,  i was getting 6 signals per sweep mate, mostly silver coins,    my mate at the time made me stop,  we were in his car, he said come with me now or walk home, Huh?     so i had to bliddy well leave the rest,  bliddy hell,  yeah, the same ex mate,  thats what he was like.

Your trips to the beach seem to be beneficial Al. Again you have come up trumps. When are you opening your Jewellery store.
