I was invited to a weekend dig over in Essex.

I had several trade (worn) tokens plus a broken hammered and other bits and bobs plus what I think may be a broken Roman ring.

The Keep, Hedingham Castle in the background.

Ear scoop possible Tudor, crystal inset on the top end.

Sible Hedingham trade token.

Lead trade weight. Not found by me.

Great finds Doug especially the ear scoop

The only ones I have found have been Roman (2) but they had means of suspension point, possible this one came from a cosmetic set held within a wallet?
