Treasure act

Hi everyone I I handed a silver buckle in to my local Flo last December and it went off to the coroner as possible treasure trove .I have read on this site other people's stories of this being a lengthy process but when should I expect to hear anything or should I be contacting the coroner to find out whats going on.This is my first possible treasure so not sure quite what to do.
