Very easy digging, old gymkhana/point to point/Boxing Day hunt meeting field for the last 50+ years.

Farmer ploughed it for the rape to go in so brought a lot of the targets close to the surface this year.

Still a pain quite literarily!

You're right there Doug, a lorra, lorra digging.   Nice to have some diggable signals though.  Looking at that lot it looks more like you've been on a beach.

Never go out without........Ibuprofen.........should be your 1st rule.  Nice going Doug.

Nice selection of finds - although amazed at the number of ring pulls!

The bit 'and the greatest of these is charity' comes from that reading that a lot of people have at their weddings -
1 Corinthians 13:13, although nowadays they replace the word charity with 'love'

Here's a listing with a very similar item on ebay:-

Thanks.

The ring pulls are from the local hot-dog/ice cream seller they had on site for the various events on the day.

Off topic.

I had grandstand view of this story unfolding being in the field close to the garage.

Never seen so many emergency vehicles.
