well I promised to take my nephew out detecting so off we went today and pulled out the usual bits n bobs plus part of a plough (took some digging) and a lump of metal which is very light for its size? 

But the best items are the spindle whorl and something in the shape of a cross possible off furniture? a little help on that one would be much appreciated.

The CROSS item is actually a Victorian picture hook. You can actually still buy that kind of hook today.

What machine are you using ?, you nearly got as much scrap rusty old iron as me  , nice spindle whorl well done

Yeah I don't tend to use the discrimination as much as I should do hence the scrap. I'm using a c scope cs 660  must have had it for about 12-13years and only starting to use it these past few years. Pleased with the spindle whirl.
