I thought I would share my adventure in Cyprus, clearly it was not a place for detectors (unless you like sharing a cell with  big Cypriot men )  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes however after the 5th day the thought of Bling got to me and I wondered how I could go about finding some Undecided I came up with a dragons den moment and it was not long before I was in a garden centre and purchased the rake in the picture along with a roll of plastic mesh to act as a sieve Huh Huh my devishly plan was to rake the sand at the end of the evenings in and around the sunbeds in the hope of goodies!! the plastic mesh was held on the rake by dental floss. Now your all wondering wares all the money and odd bits of jewellery Sad well absolutely nothing was found by this method) Huh Huh why not you must be thinking, well look at the piece of machinery I found on day 7 just around the beach headland a mean machine that no doubt destroys the possibility of any Bling items? well by my method any way Sad its just a shame I never found this before I spent 12 euros on the bloody rake which indecently is now the proud owner of the hotel. It was only a small beach and it was an all inclusive hotel so I suppose not much money was carried on to the beach any way, I reckon the sun got to me  Grin However not giving up on the Bling had me in the water snorkelling in and around the rocks and on one occasion working my had around some black sand there in front of me was what I had been waiting for in the form of a gold bracelet 5.5 grms of pure 18 ct. Happy days Wink Wink Alas the beaches must now wait for a while as the crops are out and my medieval field of dreams is calling lets all have a good season eh Wink Wink

I think you must have been talking in your sleep Paul and you were overheard by an enterprising Cypriot with a penchant for industrial espionage as I can't really tell the difference between your rake, cling film and dental floss idea and that machine Roll Eyes
