Hi guys,

Im new returning to detecting after a fair few years and am looking for permissions. I have some places in mind but the places are owned by estates but land is rented.
Do I ask the farmer or estate owner for permission to detect the land?

Pls help im banging my head off my unused detector hoping it will bleep

thanks

George

You usually need the permission of both but I would start with the landowner as mentioning to the tenant that the landowner is OK with it carries more weight than the other way around Wink

Good Luck

would love to but I only work 3 days a week and thats sat, sun and monday, so when I get a week off I will try and make it for a rally if it lands on that weekend.
