Must admit have thought about asking some of the strawberry farms round here, but figured they would keep the plants in for a few years.

Nice York mint half groat there too!

Average locally is around 3 years for them to stay in the ground.

ive had some of my best finds off strawberry fields and they turn up in good nick,i think the chemicals used are less harsh as compared to peas and potatoes etc.
