Folks,

Detecting the sidelines of a school sports field....a bit of modern coins and the usual junk....

Then concentrated on the player's section between the 2 football pitches....managed a ring with a nice stone....it's stamped 18k but appears plated still a nice trinket.

Then a good size key fob which appears silver....not stamped and weighs in at 29 grams.

Regards + HH

Bill

Hi Bill.  Another 2 nice finds.  Better pic. of ring this time, I can see it. Roll Eyes

Just having a quick nose on site while Jackie dog has a pee.  Don't know why he can't go through the night, I can.

Nice medallion.  Wonder if it was awarded to some one. Seems to be fairly modern from what I can see on Wiki. A very nice find.

Val.

Jackie done the rounds so back to peeps. HH

Val,

Pratt + Whitney produce airplane and jet engines... thinking circa 1940 -1950 era given the style.

It was probably a customer giveaway item to be used as a key fob...it weighs in at 25.1 grams so has a bit of weight.

Sweet dreams.

Nice stuff - I wish I could find even stuff like that on the sides of the fooball pitches I've looked at - as I've said before - there are no stands there, so mainly Sunday football really - best I've managed so far is a whistle!

I got permission to go around a field that was used by the locals for Rugby.  The club folded some years ago and the land is just standing idle.

All I found was a harness buckle and 10 pesetas. Very disappointing. Seems the modern locals are as poor as the old ones were. Either that or they're meaner. Roll Eyes

Val,

Maybe they are spending all their extra money at the local pub....so there's the solution get permission to detect the land around the local pub....that's where all the goodies are.....lol.
