The coin shows remarkably fine definition for one that has been in the sea for hundreds of years. I suspect it has been released from a cliff face by the very heavy storms we had a few weeks back. Alternatively it may have been sealed in mud and released by the same storms.

hiya guys just a quick update.

i sent an email to timeline originals with the info geoff told me about the coin
i requested some info like has any more been found, is there any in the BM possession, are they common, are they rare, is it valuable, how many do you think were made.

and after a month of waiting i get quote  (very interesting coin worth £20 on eBay many thanks)

well thanks for the help time line originals now i can sleep at night Angry

PAS is the way to go for information, the coin won't be rare.....in Spain but Timelines don't work in historical value only ££££.
