Hi I'm going to Weymouth in a couple of weeks anyone know if you can detect on the beaches and if so where is the best place to go .I did see somewhere that you old only detect between certain times.

In the summer months you can detect up to 9am and after 4pm the area is patrolled by beach bobbies from the local council who enforce this..
Winter months are all hours regards PaulB. Cool

i was there last summer with 4 other detectorists all day with no bobbies in sight.good luck its a good beach
