Just recovering from a bad dose of summer flue virus and the wife is now being attacked by the same ugly little infection. I don't know which was worse, the flue virus or the adrenaline withdrawal symptoms caused by not detecting! I was informed this morning that rats have been seen at the back of our property and I have spent the last two days trying to eradicate two wasp's nests.

I thought a little light humour would brighten up my day!  Wink

Do you think that the rat will stay still long enough for me to stick a wasps nest in his hole? Roll Eyes

Nice to see you back in the swim Richie.  Smiley   I'm only mending very slowly; the wife went down with the same bug after I started getting a little better and we just spent this afternoon at our local hospital because she has a suspected deep vain thrombosis! They gave her some injections and we have to ring the hospital tomorrow and arrange for a scan.  Undecided

I have managed to destroy two wasp's nests and not get a single sting, and the council have been out to put poison down for the rats. So; you lose some, you win some.  Roll Eyes

I had been hoping to put half a day in on the building project that I have been visiting, but that is now on hold until we find out how the wife is going to be!

I will pm you once I know when we will be getting down to Talacre again.
