Hello all,

I am currently trying out a Minelab Safari to go over ground I have already covered using my XP Deus. Last night I did an hour on a small field I have had 25 various hammered coins over the last 2 years. I was using the Coins mode on the Safari and this coin gave a good signal of 19, it was about 6 inches.

Its a Lizzie half Groat, minted in London.* 5th issue 1582-1600

Thanks

Nice one.

Shows there's still stuff out there.

25 hammereds in a small field is good going.

Now - am I doing something wrong - I'm currently going over the ground I have covered with my SE Pro / ETRAC with my XP Deus? Smiley

Yes I think you are right Chef. I could only get to a few clear patches of ground last night as the grass has been cut and they are letting it dry before they bale it. Hopefully the field should be clear by the end of the week so I can give it a proper going over, I'm hopeful I'll find a few more with the safari.

Nice find Will; I was interested to hear that you are trying out a Safari, I have had my eye on a Safari for a while now. I just need the wife to increase my pocket money, so I can think about buying one!  Roll Eyes
