Minelab Safari

My mate Barrie uses a Minelab Safari which he has had for some years, lately because his find rate has dropped he has started fiddling with the controls without knowing what he is doing.
Can anyone give me a program to reset the machine again, I might add he is approaching his 85th birthday so it needs to be as simple as possible!!

To start the detector in the ‘Factory Preset’
mode, (recommended in your first few
outings) press and hold the Power button
(approximately five seconds) until the Factory
Preset message is displayed on the screen.

personally i use all metal mode with no discrimination .A lot of people discriminate -10 and 40 as they will always be iron .
There is a lot of videos on youtube if you search minelab safari.
