Flipper... my first computer system cost me over £2000 in 1981 and that was before microsoft was even heard of.

That computer was state of the art and had a massive 64Kb of memory.. yes 64 kb.. now that should make you laugh compared to days memory. My double floppy 5" disk drive cost me over £800 and my dot matrix printer was over £400.

My first computer transmissions were computer direct to another computer and we had to write our own programs in basic, pascal and forth.

In the words of manwell from faulty towers "I know nothing!"

Seriosly though i work in financial services and cannot post anything that may possibly, eaven remotely, be considered as advertising. Becuase if i do i would have to print  so much small print i would go blind. Also Any anyone reading it would go to sleep. (mortgages, debt management, personal accident injury claims)  Yawn!!

But i try to keep myself occupied and have maintaied and fixed my own (and friends) cars/trucks for years. also motorbikes, so can help with that sort of thing.

I also make my own bio-diesel from waste/used cooking oil (Kaiodiesel) so if anyone wants help with that i would be willing to help,  (will swap knowledge for help with spelling....lol

I spent a lot of years in auto Radiators, ran my own Co for three years,  then decided to move to London and work at Heathrow Airport,  I got a job on Aircraft maintenancewith British Airways, working on various planes including Boeing 747s 767s 737s Airbus 320s and best of all on the fleet of Concordes, untill an accident at work they ill health pensioned me off with a nice pay packet,  I moved back to Cardiff , now a maintenance man for a halls of residance, looking after 86 flats with 380  bedrooms,
sorry but if you dont own your own aircraft,  i dont have much to offer you Grin
