Hi when a object is detected does it beep when coil front is near it and start beeping just before target or does it just beep when object is in middle of coil? Thank you.

Dazscrivo the coil is a DD which works from toe to tail so will signal a "normal" sized find right along it's 13" central rib this makes it very easy to pinpoint as if you move the coil backwards or forwards where to signal stops the target is either under the toe or the tail. No coil sounds off only under the centre or there wouldn't be much point having a coil larger than a couple of inches Wink

Basically I have a sef 10x12 for my explorer and it's a right pain it detects targets too early just in front of the coil so obviously as it passed over its still beeping and also once it has passed its a nightmare to pinpoint exactly where objects are and on beach it's range is too long and wide picking up things I don't want while I'm tracking the thing I do but the minelab pro 11 coil is amazing never detects before or after just when it's under the coil near the middle (ish) so what I'm trying to say is it like the sef or pro coil? Do you still have it for sale as well?

Well firstly I think you must have a faulty coil as I've been using SEF's since they came out and there is no delay and in all honesty I don't see how there could be Huh but more importantly this coil is for the Sovereign and so wouldn't fit the Explorer Wink

Ok mate thanks. I wasn't aware it only fit sovereign thought it would be like etrac, safari and explorer being able to swap coils across all 3 of them machines.
