Hi Doc,

Could this be the end off an old walking stick or riding crop? It's 20mm X 15mm and hollow. Looks like it might be gilt over silver or something. The engraving is very crude though, don't know if its a sign of its age or just bad craftsmanship...

I think it too ornate for a riding crop/cane but I will wait to see what other members say.
