For Sale is a Heavy Duty solid stainless steel beach detecting sand scoop that breaks down into two sections for travelling or ease of carrying.

The top handle locks into the bottom by a grip friendly locking mechanism.

This beach scoop is by 'Metal Jacket' and are made to last a life time. They will not rot of break, and probably the best you can get. The travel version (which this is) is more expensive than the non-break down version.

This is not a thin section scoop but thick gauge stainless steel made by a professional. Buyer to collect (just outside Cardiff & Newport).  No offers.....you won't get this one cheaper and they're difficult to get hold of in the UK.....  £120

£120 is a bit pricey for such a small scoop,  local blacksmith can make them for £40-£50 or there is a guy in Newcastle makes them for £80 including postage.

Small?   Shocked    It has a 4' odd tall handle and is made of solid heavy duty stainless steel and is a two piece travel version.

You can get cheaper aluminium ones or even soft metal at the price you mention.

Even the stainless steel metal detecting spades by Black Ada are about £55+

I believe you're getting confused with cheaper metal versions.
