Hi Guys,
I have never had any decent finds off the beaches at Rhyl, Kinmal Bay, Prestatyn, or Barkby. Just the odd coin or two. Most of my beach detecting, over the last year or two, has been done at Talacre. As Talacre become more popular with many detectorists, the supply of coins is starting to dry up! Still plenty of WWII shrapnel, .303 projectiles, brass cartridges, and copper boat nails to be found.

I understand that there is to be a metal detecting rally at Rhyl this coming Saturday and it may well be worth dropping by to see what is going on.

You should see my weigh-ins at the scrap yard; I have now totalled some 60kg of  .303 and .30 projectiles.  Wink
