It's in the woods about 1 mile from church ... Near the waterfalls pistil golau which is
Mentioned in the red book dating back to 1200s

Unless you know something about local pottery it's difficult to say for sure.  I have some I've picked up local to me and thanks to TimeTeam (they did a dig down here) I know it's late 1300 to early 1400 unglazed and very course.
 I also have some 1600/1700's which is glazed and is similar to yours. But that's no guarantee.

It's not roman.

Almost no roman pottery was glazed (even Samian ware has a slip rather than a glaze)
