founnd a quarter stater today i think it's dobunnic as it was found in herefordshire.i think it's an uninscribed one the back looks blank but i think there might have been a wreath or traces of.dont know whether they'll show on the photos.i found a couple of eddies & some more silver.a lucky day today.

     cheers mate ive found a corio quarter stater with the cor on the back very clear.i'll have to weigh and compare the different images on them.i have'nt had time yet because i'm rubbish with computers and it takes me an age to do anything. Grin

The obv does look plain on the photo but my monitor is very poor im sure if you catch the right light you will see signs of cor..........Love it well found Wink

  here's apic of the two together the images on the coin look the same, but the blank one does seem to be bigger.i reckon you could be right dale.

On the new photo of the two coins together I think I can see a R at 9 'o clock its possible the coin was struck slightly off the die, nice to see them together.

It will be interesting to know the weight between the two if you get the chance, the gold quality looks good on both, is one thicker than the other?
