only had an hour but i got these 2 bits today.one is a silver George Stockwell watch back stamped 925 london import mark and letter date 1915.
The other i think is a 17th century shoe buckle ?? might be wrong but it looks like a very early shoe buckle.

Well done Chantal if it is a buckle and there are signs of a crossbar which if iron would date it post 1680 so more likely 18th century but what is nice is that the orientation is wrong for a shoe buckle and it's probably a breeches buckle (think of the Bobby Shafto nursery rhyme) so far more unusual Wink

yes chef i think there could have been an iron pin down the middle there is a slight brown stain on the back in the centre.
I was thinking 1700s im always forgetting we are 1 century ahead lol  Tongue

Just in case you were wondering Chantal. Ties in nicely with where you found it.  Think that's the first one I've seen posted on here. You're finding some really nice stuff, keep it up. Wink
