found on beach today.
dont know what its made of as its that roman grot colour ,its very thin.
was very hard to take picture of but the photo shows what i can make out which is a large crown a head and a large bib/cloak
anyone know what it is and what the coin is likely to be made of as if its copper ill leave as it is if its silver i can baking soda and foil it .
coin is 15mm exactly in diameter.

I was at the beach very early for a couple of hours found loads again and a lady's silver ring that's my 3rd ring in a week all from the same area we where detecting.

Hi,
That coin of yours looks like a hammered. From looking at that large crown - it may be a Henry VII Groat.
Does it have a large Shield on the reverse of the coin?
Go careful with the cleaning, you don't want to ruin it.
