This is a gents platinum wedding ring found on Sidmouth beach, notice the very low readout on the display?

I'll have to try some platinum on my ETRAC and see what kind of numbers it shows - just have to get some platinum first.....

Thanks, from what I understand from the 'experts' platinum should always give a low read out?

5 pence pieces come in at around 7 to 10 so the ring was quite a surprise.

This next one is a 9 carat mans wedding ring taken off the beach at Lyme Regis.(wet sand)

I find 5p's come in at 12 on my Safari. When I'm having a good beach day with lots of higher value coins coming up I sometimes leave them, not anymore..  Grin
