This is a very long shot, was out yesterday driving across mendips to Wells, came across someone detecting in a field near some cross roads with a tumuli in, just interested if it was any one on hear, wanted to stop and chat but 3 grandchildren and the wife convinced me not to LOL,  Grin

This could be a good thread.

On thursday morning, I saw a guy in a yellow coat, swinging a garrett 250 on the roadside verge, opposite the restaurant where the m50 starts at Ross. I did wonder what he was hoping to find there!

Some really nice finds, and hoards been found on roundabouts Huh Don't knock them.....or was it tumulus definantly one of them Wink Wink
