Out again on Sunday with my good old detecting partner TheLoveDoc , thanks for the company fella.

We hit the fields where my gold coin come from, this time not so lucky lol  Grin Grin

Again bag seals were turning up right left and centre, followed by buttons and the odd Georgian and a Vicky Joey 1880.

Doc then shouted " Silver ", i walked over to see him holding a lovely William III love token, well done butty  Wink

Had my first fob seal, missing the little plate on bottom Cry, but was made up when out popped another Hammie Wink.

I think its an Edward I, any i.d. would be much appreciated.

A great day out and a good laugh as well.

Paul  Wink

Nice going again Paul, that military button looks a bit special, I can see what looks like a C and Y, presumably for Yeomanry, but is there a faint letter in the middle?

Hi Geoff,  the letters on the button are " C  G  Y ", the middle letter can't really be seen on the picture.

It could be a Central Glamorgan Yeomanry button raised in 1820 Huh

Its definately a G Matthew.

Geoff the date you mentioned would certainly tie in with other finds from that field.
