Any ideas on this please! It's not mine I was just browsing through a site and this was in with afew coins and tokens. Thought I'd do the person a favour and maybe ask you chaps so I can pass on the info to him.

It's a religious medal dedicated to St Benedictine as to age your guess is as good as mine though the orientation of the loop I would say puts it back before the 19thC, these aren't really known before the 17thC Wink
