We are pleased to announce that the Forest of Dean Metal Detecting Club will be holding an open two day rally on Sat and Sun 22nd and 23rd March this year.

On Saturday the rally will be held on the farm where the gold bracelets were found and covers an area of around 250 acres.
There will be a new farm on the Sunday which is also around 250 acres so in total over the two days there is about 500 acres of detectable land!

Free overnight camping is available for friday and saturday with showers and toilet facilities but there is no electric hook-up.

There will be evening entertainment at Lydney Rugby Club and also an evening meal, price of the meal has yet to be confirmed.

If you pay in advance the price is £15 per day or £25 for both days.

If you pay on the day the price is £20 per day or £30 for both days.

The rally price includes tea or coffee and a hot roll.

To pay in advance please send your cheque and contact details to;

Mr D Warren
Nags Head Inn
Yorkley Slade
Glos.
GL15 4RX

Further details eg Directions and times will be posted nearer the date.

If you need any further details please PM Silverhand (Dave Warren)

Please  note that this is a charity rally and all proceeds go to Lydney rugby club juniors  and I would like to tank you in advance for your help and to Taff and Neil for letting me post on here
