Hi all
Went out with the whites eagle spectrum for a couple of hours, very impressive machine for its age, I found the 1928 silver six pence about 9 inch deep but I have the machine in prospecting mode only problem in this mode if found all the iron , how can i set this machine up so it runs deep and not find the iron.
The lead ring has 3 notches on it what could it have been for. And I found that tiny thing next to the six pence about 5 inch down.
What a machine anyone can give me a good
program to try please.

I was just going to ask, Are you just using the stock programs or are you also using the many tweaks that are available in the menu ? By setting the discrimination you can block out a lot of the iron. The spectrum is basically the same as the xlt but it can take a bit of getting used to.

 Iron is a problem for all  detectors the whites xlt is no different deep lron  come s up 90- l ouder the signed is bigger  the lron  is  when u dig down and pinpoint u can  tell sizes off it  deep leak signal 90can catch u out I dig down ,14 ins  on a  leak signal  2 a nice  bet silver
