I have tried finding similar hallmarks online but ive had no luck yet and its making my eyes go funny now..... Is there anyone out there who can help please ? I cant tell if its silver or silver plate and im not sure if the B is actually a B or a crown  Undecided Any help at all is always appreciated  Smiley

Not sure but the top photo looks like it is plated and if so it could be faux hallmarks and would explain why you cant find similar hallmarks.  I am sure someone with more knowledge than I will able to confirm or provide more info Wink

Brilliant !!! Thanks for that, from there I found this " The firm entered their mark 'BHA' contained within an oblong punch, with the London Assay Office, on the 14th March 1888, and on the 27th September 1900." March 14th is my birthday lol...and 1888 Jack the Ripper was being very naughty in the East End of London. There was a picture of the same hallmarks too so thanks again  Wink
