i am always on the lookout for a bargain and have found a whites eagle spectrum pro for sale
its in very good cndition and only £150
are they any good.

Well it was the machine that found the Staffordshire hoard so it certainly works Grin Roughly 20 old now but is still a good machine (technology hasn't moved on) but it needs some learning, if you want switch on and go then it's not for you Wink

I have used a few switch on and go machines but I do  like a challenge so I have decided to buy it and add it to my collection.
Its a very addictive hobby for sure.

One for both arms and legs, by the sound of it Cheesy the problem is its just a little tricky going out detecting....... fair play to you Al, its good to have a mix Wink

Good machine, as Cheffy says a bit old, but a mate of ours has one, surprisingly fast recovery speed, seems to find the goods. Only draw back is the strange battery they have...

looked at the age of mine today and it is a 1996 whites xlt, i was in the field with a Deus and another modern machine the other day and to be fair we all found the same amount!!, but i paid 250 quid for mine  Cool Cool
