 :oHi been on here for a while but never posted so first Hi to everyone on the site. Going to Anglesey in two for a weeks break can anyone reccomend any good beaches for detecting. I know it's Detecting Wales and I live in Stockport but I have a caravan sited hear Ruthin so may qualify?

just pick a beach and try it with a beach machine you have to put the hours in to learn the beach and be rewarded.
there is no such thing as a good beach all the time as the beach is a living entity and moves around some times creeping up behind you at the dead of night lol.

I was talking to someone the other day and they said Trearddur had been stripped of sand so it could be well worth a visit.

Thanks for the kind welcomes I haven't got a dedicated beach machine as Im fairly new to this. I have a nearly new Tesoro silver Umax going to get used to the machine on dry sand, would it work on damp sand if I turned the sensitivity down?
