Garret pro pointer - Absolute beauty!

used to detect with out one , then tried the plastic sand scoop , and then got a pointer it makes it so much easier and more enjoyable detecting.

Just looking at the white bullseye for £48, and of course the garret for £90...would be great to do a field test on a few of them. and see (hear ) a comparison.

Didnt think they would be so expensive to be honest,so second hand shouldn't be sniffed at.

If i have the garret 150, it would hurt if i dont get the matching probe and hat hahaha...you can get garret caps ive seen them lol.

I'd say spend the extra and get a Garrett 250 then save up for the Garrett pro pointer. Just a matter of priorities really. Wink

Ive used a few different ones since I started detecting and  even used a security wand which didn't last long once the moisture and sand got inside  Roll Eyes I got the Garret probe eventually and have to say its worth every penny.... best Ive used by miles  Wink

I don't think a field test is necessary for the Garret as so many detectorests owns one, the word is already out there,

if you want to get a pinpointer get a Garret. Wink

I agree with what Val said , go for the ace 250 or Euroace detector, and the garrett probe
